Ordinarily there would be 4 classes with 9 entrants per class - making 36 vehicles in total. Since there are not enough competitors in a single class then extra room will now be allocated to accommodate extra competitors in a previously full class. Clearly, in the winter time especially, originality is difficult to drive from the confines of a snug garage. We don't blame you! Treasure your classics for some summer, out of the rain, fun (Chris Abbott excepted!)!

Format
The format is simple enough. The field of 36 vehicles is split approximately 50/50 (aircooled/watercooled) in one of the main floor halls. To create an eveness to the field it's simply a matter of ensuring that there are enough spaces for each class, and that no over-booking of a particular type can take place.
The field is broken into three categories:
1. Aircooled cars
2. Watercooled cars
3. Aircooled and watercooled commercial type bodies - includes vans, campers and pickups.
Rules for Entry
Entry qualification is based upon two important criteria, as set out below.
1. The age of the vehicle (based upon chassis number).
Aircooled vehicles entering the show and shine should be manufactured on or before 1993.
Watercooled vehicles entering the show and shine should be manufactured on or before 2000.
2. The standard of the vehicle.
This shall be deemed appropriate of a vehicle suitable for display purposes (special note - aircooled 'rat look' requires additional modifications i.e. not just a rusty Beetle!). All owners of vehicles seeking to display their vehicle in the show hall are required to supply a recent digital photo (exterior only) of their vehicle, together with details of the age and type of vehicle. eg 1979 VW Beetle 1200, 1974 Mk 1 Golf, etc.
