Paul McGunigall, the legendary Merseyside Bossman, will be in charge of proceedings as a small mountain of stuff finds its way on the Charity Auction tables and into the hands of buyers at its new venue, opposite the show cars in the Show 'n' Shine arena.

2002 marked the beginning of the charity auction and each year it has grown in both stature and popularity. Word soon spreads of the amount of stuff available to bid on and there are some serious bargains to be had. To date £3000 has been raised and passed on to UK charities.

Money raised by the donations from the small club stands on the balcony (£10 per stand) will supplement the auction total. 2008's charity will be Action Heart, a charity that helps rehabilitate heart attack victims.
